Applications are invited from Male Indian nationals for recruitment as Yantriks (Technical Sailors) for the courses commencing in the months of July and January.

Age limit
Below 22 years as on July 1 of the year of examination. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBCs.

Minimum Educational Qualification
(i) Matriculation and
(ii) Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/ Aeronautical Engineering recognised by Govt of India. (Candidates who have secured less than 50% marks in the above examinations (relaxable to 45% in case of SC/ST candidates) are advised not to apply.)

Physical Standards
(a) Height : 157 cms (may be reduced by 4 cms or 2 cms in some cases).
(b) Chest : Should be well proportioned. Minimum expansion of5 crns.
(c) Eye Sight : 6/12 (good eye) and 6/24 (bad eye).
(d) Weight : Proportionate to height and age (+/- 10% acceptable.)

Other Information
Shortlisted candidates as per the marks obtained in Matric, Diploma and NCC/Sports attainment will be called for Selection Test/Interview in English/Hindi within a reasonable time at convenient Centres.
