Applications are invited from unmarried male Indian citizens for Short Service Commission in the Hydrographic Cadre of the Executive Branch of the Indin Navy.

Age limit
19 to 25 years.

Minimum Educational Qualification
BSc with Physics and Maths with minimum 55% marks.

Interivews Test/ Personality Test
Same as for Indian Navy Naval Annament Inspection Officers.

TRAINING : Selected candidates are entered as Acting Sub-Lieutenants and undergo Naval Orientation Course at Naval Academy, Goa, followed by specialised training at the Naval Hydrographic School, Goa.

Physical Standards
Height : Minimum - 157 cms with correlated weight.

Eyesight : 6/12, 6/12 (correctable to 6/6 in each eye), Spectacles not pennitted.
