Applications are invited from male Indian citizens for Commercial Diving Course being conducted at Diving School, Kochi commencing in the months of January and April.

THE COURSE : The course is of 10 weeks duration prior to which one week of screening will be conducted. The course will be conducted on the lines of HSE {Health and Safety Executive, UK) Part I qualification and the course is termed as IDS {Indian Diving Standard) I. Individuals qualifying the course will be certified to work upto a depth of 55 metres using Air Diving Equipment.

Age limit
More than 18 years and less than 28 years at the time of commencement of the course.

Minimum Educational Qualification
(a) Candidates passing in lOth class examination of Central/State Education Board and securing 50% or more marks in matriculation or subsequent higher examination shall be eligible for this course.

(b) Candidates must be fluent either in Hindi or in English.

Method of Selection :
Candidates are called for Aptitude Test and Screening. Applicants should be medically fit. The cost of training will be borne by the candidates.

Physical Standards
Candidate should be a good swimmer with good physical stamina.
