Applications are invited from eligible Civilian Dental Surgeons for grant of Direct Permanent Commission (DPC)/Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Anny Dental Corps.

Nationality
Indian Nationals as defined in the Constitution.

Age limit
Age Limit (as on December 31 of the year of examination): For DPC: Post-Graduates should not be completing 30 years of age and Graduates should not be completing 28 years of age. For SSC: Less than 45 years of age.

Minimum Educational Qualification
For DPC : Post-Graduates/an equivalent foreign dental qualification or Graduates with 60% marks in the final year BDS. For SSC: Graduates/Post-Graduates in dentistry. All the candidates should be in possession of Dental Registration Certificate of DCI, valid for employment purposes. Candidates should be medically fit in all respects.

How to Apply
The candidates should write to the Director General,Anned Forces Medical Service" (DGAFMS/DENTAL), Room No 9, L-Block, Ministry of Defence, New Delhi-ll000l, as and when the vacancies are advertised by them, usually in the month of August/September.

Other Information
For DPC : There will be a written (objective) and clinical test. Successful candidates will be called for an interview. For SSC : Candidates are required to appear only for the Interview. All candidates have to undergo a Medical Examination. (Information compiled from Vidyapatha.com)
