Applications are invited from eligible candidates to fill in the existing vacancies and to prepare a waiting list for future vacancies for the post of Traffic Assistant.
Age limit
Below 30 years. Age limit is relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates.
Minimum Educational Qualification
(a) Candidate must be a Graduate of a recognised University with minimum 45 per cent marks;
(b) Diploma/ Certificate in Travel and Tourism preferred;
(c) Ability of communicate effectively in English and a regional language;
(d) Experience in a Travel Agency/Airlines in Reservations, Ticketing and Passenger Handling as well as knowledge of foreign language and typewriting will be an added advantage;
(e) Pleasing personality;
(f) Height not below 158 cms in the case of male candidates and 152.5 cms in case of female candidates.

GENERAL INFORMATION :
(a) Appointment will be subject to medical fitness as per the standards prescribed by the Corporation;
(b) The post of Traffic Assistant falls under Group 'B';
(c) SC/ST candidates called for Test/Interview will be paid travelling allowance as per Govt rules;
(d) Attested copies of caste certificate in prescribed format must be issued by the appropriate authority;
(e) Those already in service must apply through proper channel;
(f) Applications not containing the requisite information asked for above and/or enclosures will be rejected.
Examination Fee
Rs 10/- by Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of Air India, New Delhi. (Not needed for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen). |
