Air India Invites Applications From Indian Citizens For The Post Of Co-pilot (first Officer) And Trainee Pilot For Filling Up Existing Vacancies And Also For Maintaining A Wait-list For General Candidates.
Age limit
Maximum 40 years for Co-Pilot and 30 years for Trainee Pilot. Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST.
Minimum Educational Qualification
CO-PILOT : SSC or its equivalent.
TRAINEE PILOT : HSC ( 10 + 2 ) or equivalent. Preference will be given to Science Graduates and those having additional flying experience and with Computer background.
TECHNICAL QUALIFICATION :
CO-PLOT : (a) Possession of ALTP (Airline Transport Pilot's Licence); (b) Current Instrument Rating/Master Green Rating; (c) Current Flight Radio Telephone Operator's Licence (If not in possession, must obtain the same during probation); and (d) Current Instrument Rating Certificate.
TRAINEE PILOT : Should be in possession of(a) Current Indian Commercial Pilot's Licence with an endorsement on a twin engine type of aircraft; (b) Current Flight Radio Telephone Operator's Licence; (c) Current Certificate of Proficiency issued by the Wireless Adviser, Govt of India; (d) Current Instrument Rating Certificate.
Other Releated Information Regarding Eligibility Conditions
NOTE : The candidate should be in possession of above licences/certificates issued by the DGCA, Govt. of India at the time of application.
FLYING EXPERIENCE :
Co-Pilot : 1500 hrs which should include 500 hrs as Pilot-in- Command on multi-engined aircraft (Piston and/or Turbo-prop) or on Turbo-jet aircraft. The candidates should be medically fit as per medical standards laid down by the Corporation.
Trainee Pilot : 250 hrs of flying experience is required for obtaining CPL. |
