Basic Information regarding Exam

Lok Sahba and RajyaSabha Secretariats invite applications for various posts. Details of some of them are :

1. Junior Clerk
Qualifications : Graduation or equivalent and 40 wpm in typing.
Age: 25 years.

2. Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade)
Qualifications :
(i) Matriculation or equivalent,
(ii) Valid motor car Driving Licence; and
(iii) Skill and experience in driving Light Motor Vehicle.
Age: 25 years.

3. Attendant Grade-IV (Cleaner-cum-Helper)
Qualifications :
(i) High School/Matric/Tenth Pass;
(ii) Must have working knowledge of English and Hindi;
(iii) Must have thorough knowledge of traffic regulations; and
(iv) Must be able to locate faults and carry out minor running repairs in addition to usual jobs such as:
(a) changing of wheels;
(b) tyre pressure checking;
(c) radiator water level checking;
(d) washing of the vehicle etc. Preference will be given to the persons holding valid driving licence.
Age: 25 years.

4. Junior Litho Operator
Qualifications :
(i) Higher Secondary or equivalent; and
(ii) 3 years' experience in Litho Printing in a Printing Press of repute. Preference will be given to persons possessing Diploma/Certificate in Printing from a recognised Institution.
Age: 28 years.

5. Research Assistant
Qualifications :
(l) M.Sc with Diploma in Computers;
(ii) background of Library Science; and
(iii) at least 2 years experience in Tape Library Management.
Age: 27 years.

6. Research Assistant (Cameraman) (Video/Still)
Qualifications : Diploma in Cinematography either from Film Institute, Poona or Channai with 10 years experience in the field of Cinematography.
Age; 35 years.

7. Copy Holder (in Lok Sabha Secretariat)
Qualifications : Bachelor Degree and working knowledge of English and Hindi;
Experience : 3 years' experience in a printing press of repute. Preference will be given to those who possess Diploma/ Certificate in printing.
Age: 28 years.

8. Copy Holder (in Rajya Sabha Secretariat)
Qualifications :
(l) Graduation;
(ii) Knowledge of English and Hindi essential; and
(iii) 3 years experience in a large Government or Private Press desirable.
Age: 25 years.

9. Junior Stenographer (English)
Qualifications :
(i) Graduation; and
(ii) speed in Stenography (English) 80 wpm. Preference will be given to those who know English and Hindi Stenography.
Age: 25 years.

10. IBM Operator
Qualifications : Graduation and possessing a speed of at least 50-60 words per minute in English/Hindi typewriting preferably both.
Age : 25 years.

11. Junior Library Assistant
Qualifications :
(i) Graduation; and
(ii) Degree or Diploma in Library Science.
Age: 25 years.

12. Junior Library Assistant (Regional Newspapers Service)
Qualifications :
(i) Graduation;
(ii) Degree or Diploma in Library Science; and
(iii) Proficiency in Marathi or Bengali or Telugu or Tamil or specified language.
Age: 25 years.

13. Xerox Operator
Qualifications :
(i) Higher Secondary; and
(ii) 5 years' experience in the field.
Age: 30 years.

14. Xerox Operator
Qualifications :
(i) Higher Secondary; and
(ii) 3 years' experience in the field.
Age: 25 years.

15. Parliamentary Interpreter (English/Hindi)
Qualifications : Master's Degree in English and Bachelor's Degree in Hindi or vice versa.
Desirable : 3 years' experience in teaching, translation or interpretation work; ability to converse and write fluently in Hindi and English and familiarity with modem forms and usages in both these languages.
Age : 30 years.

16. Assistant
Qualifications: Graduation. Preference will be given to Post-Graduate/first class Graduates or candidates possessing higher qualifications.
Age:25 years.

(Note : Relaxation in age limit as per Govt rules).
