Applications are invited from male Indian citizens for filling the rank of constable (GD) in the Central Industrial Security Force.

Age limit
Not less than 18 years and not more than 23 years on the date of selection. Upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

Minimum Educational Qualification
Matriculation or equivalent examination.

Physical Standards
Height : 170 cms. Chest : Minimum 80 cms with expansion of 5 cms. (Relaxation for Hillmen/Tribesmen i.e. Gorillas, Garhwalis, Kumaonese, Dogras, Marathas and Adivasis including Mizos and Nagas. Height : 165/162.5 cms. Chest: 78/76 cms (with expansion of 5cms). Eye sight: Distant Vision : 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in the other eye. Near Vision : 0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in the other eye. Candidates should not have knock knee, flat feet and squint eyes.

Candidates who qualify in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will be put through a Written Test and Interview. Final selection is made strictly according to merit and vacancies allotted on llie basis of aggregate marks obtained by the candidates ineligibility, PET, Literacy Test (Written Test) and Interview and subject to medical fitness.
