Applications are invited for the post of
A. Assistant Sub-Inspector (Stenographer),
B. Head Constable (Ministerial) in Delhi Police from male/female Indian Nationals.
Details of these two posts given below.

Age limit
1.8 to 25 years. Relaxable upto 28 years for OBC, 30 years for SC/ST and some other candidates, 35 yearss for departmental general candidates and 40 years for departmental SC/ST candidates. For Ex-Servicemen as per Govt of India's instructions issued from time to time.

Minimum Educational Qualification
Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary {10 + 2) or equivalent. Technical Qualification: Shorthand 80 wpm and Typing 40 wpm {English)/30 wpm {Hindi) speed is required for Sub-Inspector {Stenographers) post and for Head Constable (Ministerial) candidate should have speed of 30 wpm in English or 25 wpm in Hindi..

Physical Standards
Height : Male candidates 165 cms. Female candiqates 157 cms. Chest : Male candidates 78 to 82 cms. Vision : 6/12 with or without glasses (both eyes) should be free from color blindness. All candidates should be in sound state of health.

For Head Constable (Ministerial) the application forms are available from Recruitment Cell (PHQ), 8th Floor, MSO Building, IP Estate, New Delhi on cash payment of prescribed amount (free for SC/ST/Ex-S) after the vacancies are advertised in Leading Newspapers/Employment News.

Other Information
Those who conform to the above job requirements will have to appear in physical measurement test, and those who come upto requisite physical standard, will only be allowed to appear in shorthand/typing test. The candidates who are declared qualified in shorthand/typing test will have to appear in the Written Test comprising of Essay/Precis in English and Hindi, General English and General Knowledge.
