Applications are invited from male and female Indian citizens for the posts of Naik (Combatint Ministerial) in the Indo-Tibetan Border Police.

Age limit
18 to 23 years. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and upto 35 years for Govt servants. For certain other categories the relaxation in age limit is in accordance with orders issued from time to time by the Central Govt.

Minimum Educational Qualification
Matriculation or equivalent for Naik (CM) and Senior Secondary Certificate (10 +2) for HC (CM). Preference will be given to Graduates.

Technical Qualification : Minimum 30 wpm in English typing or 25 wpm in Hindi typing.

Physical Standards
For Males: Minimum Height: 170 cms. 162.5 cms -167.5 cms for candidates belonging to martial traditions, such as, Dogras, Garhwalis, Kurnaonese, Marathas and Gorkahs, etc, subject to production of documentary proof. 5 feet 4 inches for Adivasis. Chest: 80 cms expandable by 5 cms; For Adivasis: 76 cms expandable to 81 cms.

For Females : Height : 157 cms. For certain categories 154-155 cms.

Other Information
