Pune: Baba Ramdev once again joined hands with Anna Hazare to slam the Centre for failing to act towards tackling corruption and black money.

Addressing a joint conference, the yoga guru turned anti-corruption crusader said that he will launch a nationwide agitation from August 9 to demand action on corruption and that a strong Lokpal Bill be passed.

“Government has betrayed on Lokpal. Why does the government fear a strong Lokpal Bill? Why don’t they want to bring back black money? Probably because half of the ministers are involved in corruption and if a strong Lokpal comes, they will all go to jail,” he said.

“Anna is the patron of the movement,” Ramdev said.

Backing Ramdev in his crusade, Anna Hazare said, “Will be together.”
