New Delhi: Congress president Sonia Gandhi is meeting with Congress Member of Parliament in view of the Presidential election. The UPA chairperson is meeting with MP’s in groups from all states.

Voting to elect the new President of India will take place on 19 July.

The last day for filing nominations was June 30 and the last for withdrawal of nominations was July 04. The counting will take place on July 22.Pranab Mukherjee is the UPA candidate for the top post of the country. Taking him on is the NDA candidate PA Sangma.
