Three Bodos including a woman were shot dead and seven others injured at Paroura under Fakiragram police station, official sources said.

A 60-year-old man Shahadat Hussain was killed and four others injured in firing in Duramari area under Kokrajhar police station, the sources said.

A 14-year old boy, Zakir Ali, was stoned to death by unidentified persons in Narabari area of Kokrajhar Road, the sources said.

Four cadres of former insurgent outfit Bodo Liberation Tigers were shot dead by unidentified persons at Joypur area under Kokrajhar police station of Kokrajhar district last night, the sources said.

Four others were injured in Kodalduha area in an armed attack, they said. Curfew was clamped on the town from noon and section 144 CRPC imposed in the district with the Army deployed in sensitive places, the sources said.

Bodoland Territorial Council chief Hagrama Mohilary urged Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi to send more forces to the BTC area.
