आतिशी ने कहा दिल्ली में राष्ट्रपति शासन लगाना गैर कानूनी होगा क्योंकि जनता ने स्पष्ट जनादेश दिया है। कुछ दिन पहले फ्लोर टेस्ट करके केजरीवाल सरकार ने अपना बहुमत साबित किया है। संविधान के तहत किसी सरकार के पास जब बहुमत होता है तो राष्ट्रपति शासन नहीं लगाया जा सकता। 2016 में भी जब उत्तराखंड में राष्ट्रपति शासन लगाया गया था तो कोर्ट के आदेश फ्लोर टेस्ट कराया गया था और राष्ट्रपति शासन का आदेश खारिज हो गया था
Atishi said that imposing President’s rule in Delhi would be illegal because the public has given a clear mandate. Kejriwal government has proved its majority by conducting floor test a few days ago. Under the Constitution, President’s rule cannot be imposed when a government has majority. Even in 2016, when President’s rule was imposed in Uttarakhand, a floor test was conducted on the orders of the court and the order of President’s rule was rejected.
