पूरी दुनिया में हीरे के व्यापार के लिए सूरत सबसे बड़ा मार्केट माना जाता है यहां पर रफ डायमंड को घिसकर तराशा जाता है बाद में पूरी दुनिया में इस डायमंड की बिक्री होती है। लेकिन सूरत के डायमंड व्यापार में अब एक नया ऐसा कल्चर आ गया है जिससे डायमंड व्यापारी काफी परेशान हैं और उन्हें मंदी का डर भी सता रहा है। सूरत के डायमंड व्यापार में पहली बार ई-टेंडर के मुताबिक डायमंड को बेचा जा रहा है। डायमंड के व्यापारी अलग-अलग एप्लीकेशन के माध्यम से कच्चे हीरे की टेंडरिंग करते हैं बाद में उसे बेचते हैं।
Surat is considered to be the biggest market for diamond trade in the whole world. Here the rough diamond is rubbed and cut and later this diamond is sold all over the world. But now a new culture has emerged in the diamond trade of Surat due to which the diamond traders are very upset and they are also afraid of recession. For the first time in Surat’s diamond trade, diamonds are being sold as per e-tender. Diamond traders tender raw diamonds through different applications and later sell them.
